Sangineto is a town divided into two areas: the historical centre. which is perched on a slope and is very charismatic. The Lido, near the sea which is a popular tourist destination. Belvedere Marittimo (North border)

The territory of Belvedere Marittimo includes part of the Pollino Park, the largest Natural Park in Italy. It is possible to go from zero meters above sea level to over six hundred meters above sea level along about sixteen km of a path between Mediterranean scrub and specimens of Pino Loricato. Capo Tirone beach and Marina di Belvedere Pebbly beach of about one km that frame the town's seafront. It ends in the north with the tip of the Gulf of Capo Tirone where there is a spacious panoramic terrace that allows a 360 ° view between the sea and the mountains. The Aragonese Castle, dating back to before 1046, is a medieval structure located in the highest part of the historic centre. The great arch is one of the most famous and photographed coves of the upper Tyrrhenian coast of Cosenza, suggestive for its rock arch that forms a large natural portal suspended between two promontories that frame the Saracen cave, the beach of Enea and the splendid lagoon which takes on all shades ranging from blue to light blue based on the position of the sun and the shadow of the rocks on the crystal clear water.

 

Praia a Mare - Isola di Dino e Grotte (25 km North)

The island of Dino is the larger of the two Calabrian islands and rises on the north-western coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea not far from the Praiese coast, it extends for about 50 hectares with a maximum altitude of 100 meters. On the northern side there is a small docking pier from which a rolling road starts which with a development of 1700 meters leads to the cottages located in the upper part of the island. The erosion of the sea on the limestone rocks has given rise to many caves including that of the 'Monaco', the 'Sardines' where there are stalagmites, the 'Waterfalls', the 'Leone' and the 'Blue Grotto'. But the most interesting cave on the island is the Gargiulo Cave, which opens 18 meters below the sea surface and extends into the depths of the island for a few tens of meters, completely submerged, except for two air bubbles.
